We’re thrilled to share some exciting changes at the Knox Toy Library! Thanks to the incredible support of local builders, Eltcon, and a Knox Council Minor Grant, we’ve been able to make some much-needed updates to the second half of the Rosa Benedikt Centre.
Our goal was to create a more welcoming and functional space for our members, and here’s what we achieved:
Maximised Indoor Space: We removed old shelving to open up the library, making more room for toys and activities.
Upgraded Storage Solutions: In the outdoor sheds, we replaced the existing shelves with heavy-duty options, perfect for storing our party packs and outdoor items.
New Dedicated Areas: Our puzzles and board games now have a new home in the expanded library space. Plus, we’ve added a larger indoor play area for your children to explore and enjoy during your visits.
We’re so grateful for the generosity and hard work of Eltcon, who helped bring this vision to life, and to Knox Council for their continued support.
This is just the beginning! We’ll continue improving the indoor space and have exciting plans for the outdoor area later this year.
