We’re thrilled to share how recent grants have helped us bring exciting new resources and upgrades to the Knox Toy Library. A huge thank you to our generous supporters for making this possible!
🎉 $1,000 Diversity and Inclusion Grant: Thanks to Toy Libraries Australia and the Department of Social Services, we’ve expanded our sensory play collection with fantastic new items. These include a tongue drum, a trampoline with handlebars, Fat Brain toys, a sensory playmat, and bath toys—ensuring children of all abilities can enjoy and learn through play.
🛴 $1,000 Forest Hill Grant: This grant funded the purchase of our brand-new Globber scooters and Ezy Rollers, giving children more ways to get active, explore, and have fun!
🏠 $3,000 Knox City Council Minor Grant: This grant supported minor works in our new space and helped make our Community Fun Day a huge success. From updates to the space to activity costs, this grant brought our community closer together.
🌳 $4,846 Community Bank Ferntree Gully Grant: Our outdoor area is getting an incredible transformation! This grant funded the amazing new up-and-over climbing frame and potion station currently being handcrafted by the talented team at Belgrave Men’s Shed.
We’re so grateful for these grants, which enable us to continue supporting the wellbeing, connection, and development of children in our community. Stop by to check out the new resources and see what’s coming next!
